2022 has been my favorite year. All the bad has subsided and I can get through a long stretch without felling the dread of 2021 and 2020. I had a great year and met some new people. Two of them were named Benjamin and Daisy. One had a funny sounding name, but was super intelligent. He was really special. He’s become one of my best friends. I’m so glad we have each other. I couldn’t imagine my life without him. Looking forward to 2023!
2020 and 2021 has been a challenging year for all of us. It hasn’t all been bad, but in many ways, the good moments have been overshadowed by the bad. It’s a lot easier to love something you can see and touch and hear every day. Even if it’s a person, a dog, a baby, a plant, or the moon. Something you can take with you into the night and when you come back the next day, there it is, waiting for you with a smile, knowing you’re back.
Despite it all, I can honestly say we are better off than I’ve ever been, my heart is more full than it’s ever been, and I would choose every single moment of this year again without hesitation.
